For museums

Regain your sales power.

Sell your tickets through museumtickets.nl on the Clorian ticketing platform. You hold the contract, you hold the payment account, and you keep the full ticket price. We take no commission.

What museums get

Three things change on the day you join.

Direct online sales

Your tickets, sold through museumtickets.nl on the Clorian ticketing platform. Products, capacity and pricing stay yours to set.

A self-service option

An entrance kiosk built for museums, developed with Acrelec, that takes pressure off the front desk without removing the welcome.

Local onboarding

Preparation, configuration, content, training and launch, handled by a team in your market and your language.

No system to replace

Open a new sales channel while your existing setup keeps running, and decide later how much to move across.

Who you contract with

Your ticketing contract is with Clorian, not with us.

This is the part most distribution platforms are vague about, so we will be direct. The museum signs directly with Clorian for ticketing and point of sale. Clorian processes the transaction and the money settles into the museum’s own account. MuseumAD never receives, holds or forwards your ticket revenue.

The museum

Contracts Clorian for ticketing and POS. Holds the payment account. Sets products, capacity and prices. Owns the visitor relationship.

Clorian

Operates the ticketing platform and processes the transaction. Settles directly to the museum.

MuseumAD

Publishes your tickets on museumtickets.nl through Clorian’s API, and brings visitors to them. We are a distribution channel, not a payment intermediary.

Why it matters

Your revenue never sits in anyone else’s account waiting to be passed on. There is nothing to reconcile and nothing to chase.

What it costs

The museum keeps the full ticket price.

MuseumAD takes no commission and no percentage of the ticket face value. Our share comes from a service fee the visitor pays, not from your revenue.

Visitor service fee

€0.44 per ticket, excluding VAT, added at checkout and shown to the visitor. Shared equally between MuseumAD and Clorian.

MuseumAD commission

None. We take no percentage of the ticket price, for online sales or self-service POS.

Payment processing

Card processing costs are charged by Clorian Payments and deducted from your settlement. Rates are set out in your Clorian agreement.

Implementation

€0 on the Marketplace tier. Higher tiers, which add back-office access, group sales and self-service hardware, carry a one-off implementation fee.

Exact processing rates, monthly service costs and implementation fees depend on the Clorian package you choose. We will walk you through the tiers before anything is signed.
