Technology and R&D

Specialist parts, assembled for one purpose.

Museums do not need another platform. They need proven components fitted together for how a museum actually runs. That assembly is our work.

Independent infrastructure for culture

Museums keep 100% of their ticket revenue.

MuseumAD develops the technology, editorial tools and advertising network behind MuseumTickets. Building towards 1,600 museum listings across the Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy in 2026.

The partners

Four specialists, distinct roles.

Clorian Ticketing

A specialist cultural ticketing platform: ticket products, capacity management, transaction infrastructure and long experience in heritage venues.

Acrelec

Self-service hardware design and deployment, brought into a museum context.

Adyen

Payment processing, with the security and reliability standards that implies.

MuseumAD

Market proposition, interface direction, onboarding, editorial systems and international rollout.

Our own work

Where our effort goes.

Visitor journey

The path from online discovery to the entrance, treated as one continuous experience rather than separate systems.

Editorial systems

Tools that let museums and partners publish clear, credible, locally relevant pages without a developer.

Entrance and validation

Ticket checking, access control and visitor flow at the door.

Local rollout

One product standard across markets, while each market sounds like itself.

How we work

We do not build what already exists well.

Where a proven platform solves a problem, we integrate it and put our effort into the part nobody else is doing: the museum’s actual proposition, the visitor’s actual experience, and the practical route to getting it live.

International

Local platforms first, then one connected standard.

In 2026 MuseumTickets runs in the Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain, each on its own domain with a local team. In 2027 the four come together on MuseumTickets.com and the platform opens to further European markets.
